When the inspiration hits early on a Saturday. Saturday, find some inspiration. 🤍💫

Honestly I see so many imperfections. So many I almost didn’t post this. But then because I didn’t want to post this, I had to. Because I want to be a leader. I want you to show up. I want you to get in the pictures. And as much as I could pick things apart when I look closer and not even that close what I see is a the happiest mama. Wow. Words not lost on me still. I tried for years and years and years, my whole life really to make my body perfect. Whatever that is, just so I could maybe have a baby. Maybe I never got the perfect body. But I have a body that’s so flawed, scared and stretched and put back together again and imperfect BUT had this little gem of perfection in my arms. I can look past the imperfections when I really SEE myself not on the surface but see my heart. And when I see myself from the inside out my outsides become beautiful and perfect. Find her. Embrace her. Do it for me until you can do it for you.🤍

I find myself wishing time would slow down every second. I love just watching her. Taking her in and enjoying her. Watching her body move and work well. I think about it so often and am so thankful. I hope she always knows she’s a treasure. Not because I treasure her but because she just is. She’s wonderfully made. She’s a little dot in the world full of beautiful people but I always hope she knows who she is. That she is kind and generous but doesn’t let the world take advantage of her. That she remembers to say thank you for goodness. And knows how to cope with hard by digging in her heals and getting through. I’ll teach her. And I hope she learns and executes it in her life. But more than anything I want her to know she’s a true treasure. Her body is wonderful. Her mind is strong. She’s capable. She’s worthy. She’s enough just because. She’s gonna be so tired of me by the time she’s five 🙄😂but I’m going to show her and teach her by example and hold her hand as she learns to be a little lady. I’m so thankful she’s mine. I’m so thankful I’m hers.

I bought a new dress for Elliott Jane. It’s light blue and especially sweet. I went to put it on for her one year doctors appointment and it was to small. You know what I did? Tossed it on her little rocker and got something out that fit. No emotions attached. Obviously. She’s a 12 month old baby. But what a good life lesson for me and you. It didn’t fit so I choose something else. Real simple. Why are we. so. hard. on. ourselves. all. the. time. about. the. size. of. our. bodies? Healthy bodies are so many different sizes. Don’t cheat yourself out of health because you’re making excuses but also on your way to optimal health love yourself along the way. Love yourself because you’re you. Toss that shirt that’s to big or small aside and just choose another. No emotions. Just gotta wear a shirt today, that’s all. 😂 And then look in the mirror and smile at your reflection as hard as I’m kissing this sweet baby. Hard things are different for everyone. And not having emotions around my size [NO MATTER THE SIZE] has always been so hard for me. Work in progress. What about you? .
