Admittedly I stole this recipe from my sweet dad. When I smell this steak cooking I am immediately taken back to Morrison Lane and the sound of the grill opening and closing along with the patio door as my dad goes out and checks to see if the steaks are ready. He’s already thrown the potatoes in the oven so when the steaks are ready, dinner is ready.
When you make this steak, and enjoy the rich flavor I hope the memory of my dad is hinted in your mind. In the pictures below, I served the steak with cauliflower mash and brussel sprouts. Both recipes are also in my new cookbook.
