Someone asked me not that long ago, “How do you shave your brussel sprouts?!” I hit the, EASY BUTTON and buy them! You, of course, can shave your brussel sprouts (just cut them finely) but buying them already shaved makes life so much easier.
You can make them all sorts of ways. Tonight, I just did the basics: a 12 ounce bag of shaved brussel sprouts, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, with garlic salt and pepper.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and then cook for 45 minutes, they will be pretty and crispy and you will immediatly grab a spoon and want to taste them, but let them cool first or they’ll burn ya, trust me…I speak from experience (five minutes ago, ouch!)
Add proschutta to the brussel sprout mix next time, and thank me later.
Have you had brussel sprouts? Are you picky? Try them like this! The shaved factor makes them so much less intimidating and much more delish if you are scared of the texture. I think you’re gonna love these!
Tag me if you make them @jessicadukesdaily!
