Keto Cheeseburger Hash


If you would have told me when I was a little girl that I would willingly make a meal with cabbage and serve it to my family, I would NOT have believed you! Did you know cabbage helps with inflammation, aids in digestion and is packed with Vitamin C? This cheeseburger hash is a meal the entire family will love, and when your picky eaters are gobbling down cabbage, you will have me to thank!


1 pound ground beef

1 onion, chopped

5 ounces of shredded cabbage (I buy a bag of Cole slaw mix. easy button!)

4 ounces sour cream

4 ounces cream cheese

3 ounces shredded cheddar (omit this is you are dairy free)

1 tbsp garlic salt

1 tsp of mustard

bacon bits

diced pickles

*if dairy free, omit the cheese and get kite hill foods sour cream and cream cheese


Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. In a large cast iron skillet, brown your meat with your onion and garlic salt.

Once browned, turn off your burner and add your cream cheese, sour cream, and mustard. Mix together. In a large baking dish, add your cabbage, and top with your meat mixture, add cheese. Bake for thirty minutes.

Top with bacon and diced pickles.
