I created this out of desperation. Needed chocolate and didn’t have any. That is for sure an emergency! This is such a basic chocolate, think Hershey’s meets fudge, or you could make it exciting with peppermint or peanut butter or just stick to this original. Add some sea salt on top for another variety.
5 tablespoons of Kerrygold butter (Or Ghee)
1/3 cup of confectioners swerve
1/3 cup of powdered chocolate
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 cup of nutpods (or heavy cream, nutpods keeps this dairy free
(My nutpods link with JDD will get you 10% off your order, and they have the new fall flavors available now!)
In a small sauce pan, begin melting your butter over medium heat. Stirring continuously, add your serve and chocolate and vanilla. Once melted together add your nutpods.
Pour this in a parchment lined pan (I used a loaf pan) and freeze for three hours before serving. I like to then move mine to the refrigerator to have just a bite of chocolate when needed. #smartie
Tip: use a flavored nutpods for a variation or use heavy cream if you aren’t dairy-free! Top with peanut butter or pecans and freeze.
This would be so good during the holidays with some peppermint! Please tag me over on Instagram @jessicadukesdaily if you make this recipe. I’d love to see it!
